ActiveRun For Phuket 1000
Open nowChiang Rai to Phuket, Thailand
Kamren is flying one-way to Chiang Rai — the very north of Thailand — with nothing but a 22L pack and the clothes on his back. From there, he runs south. 1,000 miles to Naiharn Beach, Rawai, Phuket. Through monsoon season. This isn't a sponsored race. There's no support crew, no safety net. Just one person who believes that doing something difficult for people who need help is reason enough to do it. The kids at SOS Children's Village in Phuket have already lost so much. Kamren knows what it feels like to grow up without stability, without a father, without someone showing up. This run is his way of showing up. Every dollar raised goes directly to SOS Children's Village. 10% is set aside for random acts of kindness along the way — for the people he meets on the road who need a meal, a hand, or just someone to stop and see them.
“He's not doing this for recognition. He just wants to help.”
